Betty Tomlin

Betty Ruth Tomlin, age 82, of Whitney passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at a Whitney nursing facility.

A memorial service was held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, August 16, 2015, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, FM#1713, Whitney, Texas.

Betty was born July 12, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio to Troy and Hulda Irene Cline Clarkson. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness church in Whitney, Texas.

She is survived by her children: Dorothy Moore and husband, Mike, of Waco, James Tomlin of Whitney, Zac Tomlin Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Whitney, Donna Reeves and husband, Ray, of Whitney, Charles Tomlin and wife, Suzann, of Clifton, Mike Tomlin of Burleson; sisters: Billie Cadman of Ohio, Maree Fanning of Whitney, Chloe Foster of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Zac Tomlin Sr.; parents: Carl and Hulda Tucker; siblings: Troy "Sonny" Clarkson, Nellie, and Beverly.
