Betty Ann (Mitchell) Fowler

Betty Ann Fowler age 67 of Cleburne, passed away on Thursday morning, April 26, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2 P.M., at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Pallbearers will be Jerry Mitchell, Ethan Mitchell, Bobby Mitchell, Lucas Speer, Doug Kirby, and Eddy Speer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mitchell, Tommy Mitchell and Tracy Elliston.

Betty Ann Mitchell was born on July 8, 1950 in Brady, Texas to E.C. and Betty Ann Connaly Mitchell. She married Ernest Fowler on July 26, 1969 in Glen Rose, Texas.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Carolyn Jo Fowler of Cleburne; son, Jimmy Fowler and wife, Penny, of Morgan; grandchildren, Deanna Lawrence and husband, Zane, of Lancaster, Derek Fowler of Morgan, Dana Fowler of Frost; great-granddaughter, Kynzlee Lawrence of Lancaster; brothers, Jimmy Mitchell and wife, Connie, of Glen Rose, Tommy Mitchell and wife, Sherry, of Walnut Springs, Bobby Mitchell and wife, Sherry, of Decatur, Jerry Mitchell and wife, Janet, of Cleburne, Tracy Elliston and wife, Debbery, of Throckmorton; sisters, Dorothy Speer and husband, Tommy, of Walnut Springs, Carolyn Speer and husband, T.C. of Walnut Springs, Janie Mitchell of Clifton, Judy Kirby and husband, Doug, of Breckenridge, Linda Jones and husband, George, of Morgan, Brenda Collins and husband, Mike, of Branson, Missouri; mother, Betty Ann Mitchell of Clifton; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by her father, E.C. Mitchell; and husband, Ernest Fowler in January of 2017.
